It doesn't smell like "chemicals".

Ok I'm writing this because like everything else I buy I always look at reviews first and usually go straight to the 1 stars to look for any common problems. I noticed most of the complaints were about a strong chemical smell. Not true at all. It has a minor new wood furniture smell I've noticed on any piece of wood furniture I've ever bought. Faint hint of lacquer, stain, and glue. It isn't strong. It didn't give me a headache in the 45 minutes I was extremely intimate with it while putting it together. I don't fear for my child's health because of it. We bought this as a second crib at the grandparents house for when they watch him. It has a few days to air out before they watch him and I'm sure it will be perfectly fine by then. If you are that concerned I can promise you the only way to avoid it is to buy an unfinished wood crib.

As for the rest of it. It went together easy peasy. Only needed the Allen wrench that was supplied. No misdrilled holes. No missing parts or pieces. Everything lined up great. Seems sturdy enough for a toddler bed. I probably wouldn't get in it, but I'm a 200lb man and I'm pretty sure it wasn't made for me.

Since I just got it today and set it up tonight I obviously can't speak to the longevity of it, but it is almost identical to the crib we already have which is now on it's 3rd kid, so I'm not too worried.

That's my 2 cents, take it or leave it. I would recommend this crib
